Pallewadi Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Village Sambalpur. To be specific, we are at House Number 08 in Ward Number 09. It’s out in the Khadgaon area, near Mohla-Manpur-A. We are basically a group of farmers who decided to work together to get things done. In the village, everyone knows everyone, so finding our post at Saroli isn't too hard for the locals. We deal with all sorts of farming issues every day. Sometimes it's about the seeds and other times it’s just worrying about the rain. It’s a quiet place mostly, until the trucks need to be loaded up. We aren't trying to be some big fancy corporation. We just want to make sure the work gets done right and the families here have what they need. The office is just a simple room where we keep our records and meet up to talk about the season. You won't find any shiny suits here, just people who know what it’s like to work the land in Sambalpur. Our address is pretty straightforward if you're coming through the ward. We spend a lot of time just hanging around the front, talking to whoever stops by with a question about their crops. It is a long way from the city noise, which suits us just fine. Being a producer company means we have a lot of voices to listen to, but that is part of the job here in Khadgaon. We just keep going.
