Ashwath Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are over at House Number 161 in Dhanora. Ashwath Farmer Producer Company Limited is not a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just where we meet to talk about our farms. Dhanora is our home, and most of us have been farming this land since we were kids. We started this group because it felt like the only way to keep our heads above water. Farming is getting more expensive every year, and the prices we get for our crops don't always keep up. So, we thought we would try working together. It’s mostly just us sitting around and talking about who has what ready for market. We use the space at the house to keep our records and maybe store a few things if we need to. It is a bit messy, but it works for us. We are not trying to be some huge company; we just want to make sure we can keep farming and maybe make a little bit of profit for a change. There are plenty of long days in the sun and nights spent worrying about the rain, or the lack of it. We just do our best with what we have. It’s a simple life, and we are just trying to make it a bit more stable for everyone in the group here.
