Buddhabhushan Shetkari Producer Companylimited is run out of Lonwahi. We use Sewchandra Shalikram Nagdeote’s place as our main spot. This is way out in the Chandrapur district. We are basically a group of farmers who decided to team up. It’s easier to buy things and sell things when you are part of a group instead of being on your own. Most of our meetings happen on a porch or in a small room at the house. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just our work. In this part of the country, farming is what everyone does. We deal with whatever crops are growing in the local fields. Life in Lonwahi is quiet, but our work is usually pretty busy. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds, weather, and how to get a better price for what we grow. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation. We just want to make sure our families and neighbors can keep farming. The paperwork is a bit of a headache sometimes, but Sewchandra helps keep it organized. If you’re ever in this part of Chandrapur, you’ll find us just doing our daily chores. We’re just regular people trying to make a honest living from the soil and helping each other out along the way.
