Our place is out in Chakan, right next to Parksons in Waghjai Nagar. It’s a busy spot with trucks coming in and out all day. We deal with metal sheets mostly. The machines make a lot of noise, so you get used to shouting a bit over the hum. We’ve got a big floor space at Plot No 2. It’s hot in the summer, especially when the machines have been running since six in the morning. We don’t do anything flashy. It’s just about getting the metal cut and shaped properly. The guys on the floor know their stuff. Some have been here since we first opened up. We see a lot of raw material coming in and stacks of finished sheets going out. The office is small and usually has a bit of grease on the door handle. It’s just how it is in an industrial area. There’s a tea stall down the road where everyone goes during the break. We focus on the work at hand. If a machine breaks down, we fix it ourselves if we can. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of orders. Chakan has grown a lot, and we’ve just stayed here doing our thing. It’s not a corporate office with carpets. It’s a factory. We keep things moving and try to stay on schedule. There isn't much more to it than that. We just do the metalwork and keep the facility running.
