Ramdev Steel Traders

We are located in Chakan, right across from the Om Sai Building. This area is full of construction and big trucks, so there is always a lot of dust in the air. Our yard is where we keep all the steel. We deal with different types of rods, sheets, and bars that builders need. Most of our customers are local contractors or people trying to fix up their own houses. It is heavy, physical work. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks. The sun gets really hot out here in Chakan, so we usually have some shade set up where we can take a break and drink water. We don't have a big sales team. It is usually just a few of us managing the inventory and taking orders. We keep a ledger to track what goes out. It's a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. People know they can just come by and see what we have in stock. Sometimes the supply is a bit short if the mills are slow, but we try to keep enough for the regulars. It’s a straightforward business. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing. We just stand by the gate, wait for the trucks, and make sure the weights are right. It’s a long day, but we like the work. It keeps us busy from morning till night.
