Our place is out at Gat No. 635 in Kuruli Village. It’s quite a drive to get here since it is tucked away in the Tal. Khed area. The road leading up to the gate can get pretty dusty when the trucks go by, especially during the dry months. It is mostly open land around us, so you definitely feel the change in weather more than you would in the city. There isn’t much in the way of shops or cafes nearby, so most of us bring our own tiffin for lunch. We spend most of our shift inside the main facility. The building itself is large and functional, built to handle the kind of work Kalyani Lemmerz Ltd. does every day. It can get a bit loud on the floor when everything is running at once, but that’s just how it goes here. There’s a small parking area near the front gate where we leave our bikes and cars. Sometimes you’ll see some local dogs hanging around the entrance waiting for someone to drop a bit of food. It is a quiet village life outside the gates, even if it’s busy inside. We’ve grown accustomed to the rhythm of the place. It’s just a solid, working site where people show up, do their jobs, and head home when the sun starts to go down over the fields. We don't really have many visitors out here, but we keep things moving along just fine.
