Vij Steel Traders

We are located in Paharganj, right near the furniture market. If you know this area, you know it is crowded and loud almost all day long. We are in building 6968, right across from the Akshya Hotel. Most people use the hotel as a landmark because finding a specific building number here can be a real nightmare. We deal in steel. It is heavy, dirty work. The shop is full of traders and workers moving things around constantly. Being near Multan Dandhda means there is always something happening right outside the front door. We started out small and mostly stayed that way. We like it. You get to know the other shop owners and the regulars who come in for steel supplies. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the food stalls nearby. The furniture market brings in a lot of people, so it never really stays quiet for long. We keep different types of steel in stock, whatever we can actually fit in the space we have. It is not a polished corporate office. It is a place where we write out bills and talk to customers face to face. The trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow streets around here, but we have figured out the best times for loading. It is a bit chaotic, but that is just how Paharganj is. We just focus on the trade and making sure we have what people are looking for. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night.
