Parmar Welding Works

Down here at C-5-20, Sector-5 in Rohini, you will find Parmar Welding Works. We are pretty close to the Rajiv Gandhi area, so it is usually quite easy to find if you know where you are going. It’s a workshop, so it is usually noisy with the sound of metal and machines going most of the day. We have been here for a while now. My hands are usually dirty from the work, and the floor is always covered in scraps. That is just how a welding shop is supposed to look, I guess. We don’t spend much time on the computer or doing fancy things like that. Mostly we are just focused on the projects sitting right in front of us. Some days it is hot, especially in the summer with the torches going, but we just get on with it. People from around Rohini stop by when they need something fixed or put together. It is a straightforward kind of business. We don't have a big reception desk or anyone in a suit. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. The address at Sector-5 is where we spend all our time from Monday to Saturday. It’s a lot of physical labor, and at the end of the day, we’re tired, but it’s good work. We just keep doing what we know how to do here in Delhi.
