We are located right at Ajmeri Gate, specifically at 1-6- B on Asaf Ali Road. This part of town is always loud and full of activity, which suits us just fine. J L Metal has been operating out of this space for quite a while. We deal with various types of metal pieces, sheets, and hardware. The shop floor is usually a bit messy with scraps and tools lying around. We don't spend much time cleaning up for show because there is always work to be done. You’ll hear the sound of metal clanging and people shouting orders over the traffic outside. Most of our day is spent measuring things out or loading materials onto trucks. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually dirty by noon. We get a lot of contractors and builders coming through the door looking for specific parts. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars to show up. If you need a specific gauge of metal or some custom cutting, we try to get it done while you wait, or by the next day. The building is old, and the stairs are narrow, but it’s where we’ve always been. We know the other shop owners on the road and how the market works here. It’s just a basic metal business, and we've been doing this for years now.
