Grand Steel Works

If you know the Anand Parbat area, you know it is a very busy industrial and commercial spot. We are located right on Street No 1 at 50/16. Grand Steel Works is basically just a workshop where we spend most of our waking hours. It is not the easiest place to find if you are not familiar with the street numbers around here. The sign outside is a bit old and maybe needs a fresh coat of paint, but everyone around here knows where we are. Inside, it is pretty loud most of the time. There is always something going on with the machines. We have tools and materials scattered around because that is just the nature of what we do. It is not a showroom for customers. It is a place where work actually happens. The air smells a bit like metal and dust, which we do not mind much anymore. We have a small corner with a couple of chairs where we take our breaks and drink water. Sometimes the neighbors from the other shops stop by to chat about the weather. It is a tight-knit street. We have been in this building for quite a while now. The stairs are a bit narrow and the lighting is not the brightest you have ever seen, but it suits us fine. We do not need a lot of luxury to do our jobs. We just need our equipment and enough space to move things around. Most days go by pretty fast because there is always a list of things to finish.
