Traditional Indain Jewels

You’ll find us on the second floor of building 5-C, 88 on New Rohtak Road in Karol Bagh. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but that’s just how these old Karol Bagh buildings are. We’ve been here for a long time, working in the same rooms where my uncle used to sit. The name says Traditional Indain Jewels, and that’s really what we do—just old-fashioned pieces that people wear for big family events. The walls are lined with old cupboards and we use heavy safes to keep everything secure at night. It’s not like those big malls where everything is under bright spotlights. Here, we use simple desk lamps to show the stones and the gold work to anyone who stops by. Karol Bagh is always loud with cars and shoppers, but once you get up to the second floor, it gets a little bit calmer. We spend our days talking to customers about what they want and sketching out ideas on scrap paper. There’s no rush here; we take our time because that’s how jewelry should be handled. Sometimes we have tea with the people who come in, even if they don't buy anything that day. It’s about the connection we have with the community. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and make sure the shop is open every morning.
