We are over at O-27 in Patel Nagar West. It’s a pretty standard spot in this part of Delhi. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we see a lot of the same people coming in every week. We’ve been running this restaurant for a while now, mostly serving Chinese dishes that people in Delhi are used to. It’s a small operation, really. We don’t have a massive staff or a big kitchen, but we make it work. The street outside can be a bit of a mess with cars and people, especially in the evenings. Inside, we keep things basic. There are a few tables and some chairs that have been around for a few years. We don't go for anything fancy like mood lighting or expensive art on the walls. It’s just a place to eat. We spend a lot of our time prepping in the morning, chopping vegetables and getting the sauces ready. Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients if the day is busier than we expected. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on the food. It’s not a corporate place at all, just a local business trying to do things right. We get a lot of take-away orders from the families living nearby too. It’s honest work, and we like being part of the Patel Nagar community. We just keep the doors open and do our best every single day for the customers.
