Junction 36

Junction 36 sits right at the corner where Rohtak Road meets Joshi Road. It’s a hectic intersection in 110005, and we’ve gotten used to the constant sound of horns and engines. The building is older, and you can tell if you look at the walls or the ceiling. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running. Every morning, one of us gets here early to sweep the front and check the stock. It’s not a very big space, so things can get crowded quickly when people stop in on their way to work. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or polished signs. We just have our name on the front and we stay open until the evening. The furniture is practical, nothing special, just stuff that works for people wanting a quick seat. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb flickers, and we just fix it ourselves. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood because we see the same faces every single day. Working here means dealing with the heat in the summer and the dampness when it rains. We don't have a long list of goals. We just want to make sure the doors are open and we are ready when the lunch rush starts. It is just a plain business at a busy junction, nothing more and nothing less.
