Being inside The Lalit Hotel means we’re always on the move. 24 By 7 is exactly what the name suggests. We don't really close our doors because people are hungry at all hours of the night and day. It’s a bit of a strange rhythm, working when the rest of the city is asleep. You see all sorts of people coming through here, from tired travelers to folks who just finished a late shift. We keep the coffee going and the food ready regardless of the clock. The atmosphere changes depending on the time. Late at night it’s quiet, and then breakfast gets pretty hectic. We try to keep up with everything, even when the rush hits unexpectedly. It’s not about being the most polished place in the world, it’s just about being there when someone needs a meal. The hotel staff and the regulars know us well. We’ve seen a lot of things change over the years in the 110001 area, but our routine stays pretty much the same.
