Bercos Connaught Place

Bercos is located at E-8 in Connaught Place. Being in the heart of Delhi means we are always surrounded by crowds and cars. CP is a circle, and it’s easy to get lost, but E-8 is a spot we’ve called home for a long time. Inside, we have tables set up for people who want to sit down after a long day of walking through the inner and outer circles. We focus on Chinese and Thai food, so the kitchen is always busy with woks and steam. It gets quite loud inside when all the tables are full, with the clinking of forks and people talking over each other. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk; we just make sure the rice is hot and the noodles are ready. The windows look out onto the street, and you can see the white pillars of CP through the glass. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles a bit when it’s forty degrees outside and the door keeps opening, but we do our best. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming here for years, and we know exactly where they like to sit. The staff has been around for a while too, so we all know the routine. It’s a busy life working in the middle of the city, and there’s always something to do, whether it’s cleaning the menus or refilling the soy sauce bottles.
