The India Connection

The India Connection is tucked away in Paharganj, at No. 4702 Shora Kothi. If you’re walking down the Main Bazar, we are right behind the Decent Hotel. Paharganj is always a bit of a whirlwind with travelers and markets and everything else going on. Our spot is a little quieter than the main street but you can still hear the rickshaws honking all day long. We do a bit of everything here, mostly helping people navigate things or sourcing items from the local markets. It’s a small office with a lot of character, mostly because it’s in such an old part of the city. We have maps on the walls and plenty of tea for anyone who drops in. We aren't some big travel firm, just a few people who know the city and the country well. Sometimes it gets really hot in the afternoon and we just have to sit under the fan and wait it out. It’s a busy life here in Shora Kothi. We’ve seen a lot of tourists come and go over the years. Some people stay for a day and some for a month. We just try to keep things moving and help out with whatever is needed. Being behind the Decent Hotel makes it easy to give directions to people who are lost. It’s a real slice of Delhi life here and we like the energy of the Bazar.
