Krishna Crafts

We are located at 643, Chowk Baoli, in the Tooti Main Bazar of Pahar Ganj. This area is always full of life, with tourists and locals pushing past each other every minute. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We have all sorts of crafts tucked into every corner and hanging from the ceiling. It can be a bit overwhelming when you first walk in because there’s so much to look at. We don’t really have a system for the display; we just put things where they fit. Sometimes we find something in a box that we forgot we even had. It’s a colorful place, but it’s also quite dusty because of all the foot traffic from the street. We spend a lot of time talking to people from all over the world who wander in looking for something unique. We aren’t salesmen in the traditional sense; we just show them what we have and let the items speak for themselves. The bazar can be loud and the heat in the afternoons is quite something, but we’ve got our little spot here and we like it. We focus on keeping the inventory interesting and making sure we have enough variety for everyone. It’s a busy, messy, and honest way to make a living in one of the busiest parts of the city. We open early and stay until the bazar starts to quiet down at night and we finally close the doors.
