Ruchika Art Emporium

Daryaganj is always full of life and noise, especially around Shyam Lal Road. We are tucked away on the first floor at number 83. Ruchika Art Emporium has been around for some time, surrounded by all these old buildings and narrow lanes. Working here means you get used to the constant sound of the street and the smell of old paper. Inside, it is mostly just shelves filled with various items we have collected over the years. It is not a big showroom or anything polished, just a practical space where we keep our stock. We spend our mornings dusting off the items and making sure everything is where it should be. Daryaganj has a specific rhythm to it, and we are just a small part of that. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when new deliveries arrive, and we have to shuffle everything around to make room. People often wander in from the street, looking for something specific or just browsing. We do not have a big team, just a few of us making sure the daily tasks get finished. It is a very simple setup. We deal with art pieces and decorative things, but we do not make a big fuss about it. The lighting in the shop is not always perfect, but you can see the details if you look closely. We have known the shopkeepers next door for years, which makes the long days feel a lot faster.
