Oriuyyum Craft Palace

We are over at 20/12 in Old Rajinder Nagar. It is a bit of a residential area mixed with small businesses, so it feels quite neighborly. Our workspace is usually a mess of threads, beads, and different fabrics. We have these big tables where everything gets spread out, and half the time you can’t even see the wood underneath all the supplies. It is a bit of a "palace" only in name; really, it’s just a busy workshop where we spend too many hours hunched over small details. The lighting is okay, but we often have extra lamps clipped onto the edges of the tables so we can see what we are doing late at night. You can hear the local street sounds, kids playing or people heading to the market, which is quite nice actually. We don't have any fancy displays. Most of what we make just gets boxed up or sits on the shelves until it’s ready. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to see what we are working on this week. It’s the kind of place where you’ll always find a half-empty cup of tea somewhere and probably a bit of glue on the floor. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a group of people who like making things with our hands and staying busy in our little corner of Rajinder Nagar. It is cramped and a bit chaotic, but we get the work finished eventually.
