Munna & Billu

Munna and Billu is located at 70/5397 in Karol Bagh. This area is famous for being packed with shops and people, and we are right in the thick of it. We do a bit of everything here, mostly focused on what the local trade requires. The shop has been here for a while and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. We have boxes stacked up in the corners because there never seems to be enough storage space. It’s a narrow place, so we have to move things around constantly to get to the back. Karol Bagh is always moving, so we see a lot of different faces every day. We don’t really have a big team, just a couple of us handling the orders and the customers. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Delhi heat, but we make do. We handle a lot of different items depending on what’s in demand. It’s a lot of physical work, moving stock and organizing the displays. We don’t use any fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is just written down in our ledgers. It’s a traditional way of working but it has served us well so far. If you are navigating the lanes of Karol Bagh, you’ll find us near the main market stretch. We just keep doing the work we are used to. It’s noisy and dusty but it’s our daily life and we are used to it.
