Ssom Garments Private Limited is tucked away in Karol Bagh, which is one of the busiest market areas you’ll ever see. We are at 6169, Khasra Number 4097/190, in Ward XVI. Specifically, we are in Block 1-B, Gali Number 3. Finding us can be a real adventure because the lanes are so narrow and crowded with shoppers and rickshaws. We’ve been here for a while, working in the garment trade. Our space is filled with stacks of fabric and half-finished shirts. It’s a traditional Karol Bagh setup where every inch of space is used for something. We aren't a corporate office with glass walls. We have old desks and chairs and plenty of tea cups lying around. The noise from the street is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. We work with a small crew of tailors and cutters. It’s honest, tough work, especially when the summer heat hits the city. We spend our days checking the sizing and making sure the buttons are on tight. We don't do much advertising. Most of our orders come from people who have known us for years. We try to keep our prices fair and our work decent. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our business and we take a bit of pride in seeing our garments out in the shops. It's just a regular local shop making things work day after day.
