Sri Ragavendra Trading Company

Our place is at No. 1840 in Noor Ganj. If you know Azad Market, you know how busy it gets every single morning. Sri Ragavendra Trading Company has been operating out of this spot for quite some time. It is a very tight area with a lot of movement. We deal with a lot of different goods, so the space is usually filled with boxes and packing material. There isn’t much room to sit down, to be honest. Most of the day, we are on our feet, checking lists and making sure the right orders go out to the right people. The street outside is always full of rickshaws and people carrying bundles on their heads. It’s loud and it can be stressful when a big shipment arrives and there’s no place to park the truck. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just do our business face-to-face or over the phone. My father used to say that a market like this never sleeps, and he was right. Even when we are closing up, there’s still activity in the alley. The building itself is quite old, with narrow stairs and high ceilings. We have to be careful with how we stack things so nothing falls over and breaks. It’s just honest work, day in and day out. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just trade our goods and keep the business going in the heart of Noor Ganj.
