Sandhu Pesticides

Sandhu Pesticides has been operating out of the Plaza Cinema Building for a good while now. We are in unit 131-D, right near the Delhi GPO in Kamla Nagar. It’s an old building, and you can really feel the history when you walk through the hallways. The Plaza Cinema is a bit of a landmark around here, so most people don't have much trouble finding us once they get to the 110001 area. Our shop is mostly filled with bags and containers of different stuff for the local farmers and gardeners who come in. It smells a bit like chemicals and old paper in here, which is just what you'd expect. We spend a lot of time talking to folks about their crops or what’s eating their plants. It’s not a glamorous job, and the office isn’t exactly modern. We’ve got an old desk, some metal shelves that have seen better days, and a lot of paperwork. The traffic in Kamla Nagar is always a headache, so we usually hear the noise of cars and rickshaws all day long. We just get on with our tasks, checking the stock and helping whoever walks through the door. Some days are slow, especially when it’s not the planting season, but we stay busy enough keeping the place organized. It’s a small, practical business run by people who know the neighborhood well. We’ve been in this building so long we know every single creak in the floor.
