Bajaj Agros

Bajaj Agros is located at Shop No 5330 in Gali Petiwali, which is right in the middle of Multani Sarai in Sadar Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Sadar, you know the lanes are very narrow and always filled with carts and people carrying big loads on their heads. Our shop is one of those places where every inch of space is used for storing agricultural goods. We have bags and containers of different sizes piled up. Some days the smell of the products is quite strong, but we don't mind it anymore. It’s a busy life here. We start early because the market wakes up before the sun is even fully out. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers or small traders who come in looking for supplies for their crops. We have a small desk in the back where we keep our accounts and try to stay organized, though it’s hard when things are moving so fast. We don’t have a fancy storefront or air conditioning. It’s just an honest place to do business. Sometimes it gets so crowded in the lane that we can’t even get a delivery truck close to the door, so we have to carry everything by hand. It keeps us busy and active. We like being part of this market because there’s always something happening and we know all the other shopkeepers nearby. The energy here is just different from anywhere else in the city.
