Kissan Seeds Stores

You can find us at 123, New Qutab Road, right in the heart of Sadar Bazar. If you’ve been to Sadar, you know how loud and crowded it gets with all the shoppers and carts moving around. Kissan Seeds Stores has been part of this chaos for quite a while. Our shop is filled with sacks of seeds and the smell of dried goods. It’s a narrow space and we’ve stacked things right up to the ceiling to make room for everything. We don't have a computer system that tracks every single thing; a lot of it is still done with pen and paper in old ledgers. It’s just easier that way for us. Farmers and locals come in all day asking for this or that, and we do our best to find what they need in the stacks. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty when we’re moving the bags around. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that whistle while they spin. It's a real traditional store environment. We aren't trying to be a big fancy supplier, we just provide the seeds people need for their crops. The street outside is always noisy with honking and shouting, but inside we just focus on the customers. We’ve known some of these families for generations. It’s a simple business run by people who know their seeds and don't need any frills.
