Shiv Shakti Casting

Shiv Shakti Casting is on Street No. 9 in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area. If you have ever been to Anand Parbat, you know it is a very crowded place with a lot of small shops squeezed together. Our unit, B-17/Db, is right in the middle of all that noise and activity. We specialize in casting and the shop is usually filled with the sound of metal hitting metal. It is a tight space, so we have to be careful about where we stack the finished pieces and the raw materials. The walls are dark from years of smoke and the floor is mostly dirt and packed sand. We don't have air conditioning or anything like that, just some old ceiling fans that spin fast but don't do much for the heat of the furnace. Most of our customers are local people who just drop in with a part they need copied or a small run of items they want cast. We don't do much in the way of marketing or sales. We just do the work as it arrives and people seem to know where we are. Getting deliveries in and out of Street No. 9 can be a real headache because of the narrow lanes and the parked scooters, but we make it work every day. It is just a regular shop where we do a regular day of labor.
