Our shop is located in the basement of R-815 in New Rajinder Nagar. It’s Shop Number 3. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is a relief when you’re dealing with heavy metals. New Rajinder Nagar is a well-known area in Delhi, and it’s always buzzing with activity. We’ve set up Shiv Shakit Steel & Metals here to serve the local contractors and builders who need materials quickly. The space is filled with racks of different metal pieces, and it can get a bit tight when we have a lot of stock. We don’t have a big fancy storefront or windows to look out of. Instead, we have good lighting and a sturdy workbench where we do our measurements and cutting. Most of our customers know exactly where to find us in the basement. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We spend most of the day moving stock around or writing down orders. The stairs can be a bit of a workout when we’re carrying heavy things, but we’re used to it by now. It’s just how we run the business. We don't bother with fancy brochures or polished sales pitches. If we have what you need, we tell you, and we get it loaded up. It’s a small, hard-working shop that’s been part of this neighborhood for quite some time. We’ve known some of our customers since they first started out.
