Sharda Metal

Sharda Metal is at Shop Number 10578/39 in Shankar Gali No. 2. This is in Paharganj, Delhi. We are near Motia Khan, which is an area known for metal and hardware stuff. Paharganj is always a bit chaotic. There are cows in the street, tourists walking by, and carts being pushed everywhere. Our shop is tucked away in the alley. It is a small space, but we make it work. Sharda Metal deals with various bits of metal every single day. We spend most of our time organizing the shelves or weighing things out for people. The light inside the shop isn't the best, so we often stand near the front door to see better. It is a noisy place because of all the construction and the traffic nearby. We have been in this spot for years. My father worked in this area too. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here in Shankar Gali. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the stools until it comes back. We talk to the neighbors about the weather or the local news while we wait. It is a very normal, local life. We provide what people ask for and we try to keep our accounts straight. That is about all we do from morning until the night when we close the shop for the day.
