Saimean Apparel Private Limited is our small setup over in Karol Bagh. We sit in Shop Number 3 at Khalsa Nagar on Tank Road. If you know this area, you know how loud and busy it gets every single morning. The shop is on the lower ground floor, so it stays a bit cooler when the Delhi sun starts beating down, but it’s still a lot of work. We spend most of our time moving boxes around or checking the stitching on the latest batch of clothes that came in. It's not fancy. There are rolls of fabric sometimes leaning against the walls and the smell of tea from the stall next door is always drifting in. Some days the traffic on Tank Road is so bad that even the rickshaws can’t move, but we just keep at it inside. We've been in this spot for a while now. Most people around here know us just as the guys in E-16/1184. We don't have a big fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. It's just a place where we get things done and try to keep up with the orders. Sometimes the lights flicker when the load gets too high on the street, but that’s just how things go in this part of town. We just open the shutters, count the stock, and wait for the next delivery to arrive. It's a simple life, mostly spent looking at tags and talking to the transporters.
