You can find us at J-301 in the General Market area of Paharganj. If you know Paharganj, you know it is a bit of a maze with people and carts moving everywhere. Raisa & Sons has been in this spot for a long time. It is a family thing, so we all know the drill. The shop is right in the middle of the action, which means there is always noise from the street coming inside. We have piles of stock reaching almost to the ceiling sometimes. It is a bit cramped, especially when we get a new shipment in, but we make it work. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we conduct our business and meet people. Most of our neighbors have been here as long as we have, so there is a bit of a community feel despite the chaos of the market. We spend our time checking the quality of what we have and talking to the people who drop by J-301. Some days are slower than others, which gives us a chance to tidy up a bit, though it never stays clean for long. We aren't big on flashy talk. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Being in General Market means you have to be quick on your feet. It is a tough environment but it is what we know.
