Rahul Metal Industries

We have been here in Paharganj for a long time now. The shop is at Motia Khan, right in the F Block area near Sadar Bazar. It is usually pretty busy around here with all the traffic and people moving metal goods back and forth. Rahul Metal Industries handles mostly basic metal stuff. We spend our days dealing with orders and keeping the inventory sorted. Sometimes it gets a bit messy in the double story space, but that is just how it goes when you work with iron and steel. My father started things out and now we just keep it moving. It is not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we get the work done. People from the market stop by often. We know most of the guys around the block by name. It’s loud because of the hammers and the loading trucks outside. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of scrap and sheets get ahead of us. Living and working near Sadar Bazar means you never really have a quiet moment. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. It is hard work but it keeps us busy. We just focus on what the customers ask for and try to get it out the door. The stairs in the double story can be a pain when you're carrying heavy stuff. But we manage. It’s just a normal local business.
