If you’ve ever been to Karol Bagh, you know how crazy the streets are. We are on the first floor at 23/2724 Saraswati Marg, right in the middle of Beodon Pura. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up some narrow stairs to find us. It’s a bit away from the street noise, but you can still hear the horns honking all day long. The shop is filled with rolls of fabric and handloom items. There isn't much room to walk around because we have so much stock piled up. We’ve been here for many years, and the space feels smaller every day as we add more things. The lighting isn't the best, so we often have to take fabrics over to the window to see the real colors in the sunlight. We get a mix of people coming in, some who have been buying from us for decades and others who just stumbled upon us while shopping in the market. It’s a family-run place, so there’s always someone around to help, though we might be busy eating lunch in the corner if you come at the wrong time. We don't have a big staff or anyone in suits. It’s just us in our everyday clothes, trying to keep the business running in this busy part of Delhi. It gets exhausting sometimes, but it’s our life. We just keep the shelves full and the doors open.
