We are Aggarwal Sons and we’re located right in the Main Bazar of Paharganj. If you’ve ever been to Paharganj, you know it’s one of the busiest and loudest places in Delhi. There are tourists, cows, rickshaws, and shoppers everywhere all the time. Our shop has been here for years, passed down through the family. It’s a narrow space and we have stuff piled high up to the ceiling. It’s not a tidy place, but we know exactly where every single item is hidden. We don’t have a website or an Instagram page because we don’t need one. People just walk in from the street because they saw our sign or their father told them to come here. We spend our days dealing with all kinds of people from all over the world. It’s exhausting sometimes but never boring. We usually have a few stools for people to sit on if they want to chat, but mostly it’s a quick in-and-out kind of business. We don't use fancy talk or try to sell you things you don't need. We just tell you the price and handle the transaction. When the market shuts down at night, it’s finally quiet, and we head home to get ready for the same thing the next morning. It’s a tough way to make a living in the heat and crowd, but it’s all we’ve ever known.
