Our office for Paras Silvex Pvt. Ltd. is right at 46 Main Bazar in Pahar Ganj. If you’ve ever walked through there, you know it’s one of the busiest spots you can imagine. There’s always a mix of people, from local shoppers to travelers with huge backpacks. Our building is right in the thick of it. The noise from the market is constant, with vendors calling out and the sound of rickshaws everywhere. Inside, things are a bit more focused. We deal with silver items mostly, so there’s a lot of weighing and checking going on throughout the day. The desks are usually covered in ledgers and small parcels. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and we’ve seen the market change quite a bit over the years. It’s a bit dusty because of all the traffic outside, so we’re always wiping down the counters. We don't really have a lobby or anything like that, you just walk in and we're there working. Lunch usually comes from one of the stalls nearby, and we eat while we work if it’s a busy day. It’s a bit chaotic at times, especially when a big delivery comes in and we have to find space for it in our small room. But we like being in the center of the action in Pahar Ganj. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation for us here at number 46, keeping things moving along.
