Orient Craft

We've been at 20/30 Old Rajinder Nagar for a while now. It's a busy spot in New Delhi and the streets are always full of people. Most days are pretty loud with the machines running and the traffic outside. We handle a lot of fabric here at Orient Craft. People usually find us by looking for the old building near the corner. It isn't a fancy office, just a workspace where we get things done. We have a lot of people coming in and out all day. Sometimes the tea man comes by around four and we take a quick break. The traffic in Rajinder Nagar is always a bit much, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. We started small and just kept going. It's mostly about cutting and sewing different pieces. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. The floors are usually covered in thread and scraps of cloth by the end of the shift. Someone sweeps up, then we do it all again the next day. The lights stay on pretty late most nights when there's a big order to finish. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name. It's enough for the folks who know where we are. We've got a rhythm here that works for us. It’s a hot place in the summer, but we keep the fans going. Nothing too complicated about it. We just show up and do the work we know how to do.
