Om Prakash & Sons

We are Om Prakash & Sons, and you’ll find our place at 6653, Nabi Karim, near the Neem Wala Chowk in Pahar Ganj. This is an old part of the city, and our shop feels just as old sometimes. My father started things here, and now we just keep it going. It’s a tight space, but we’ve got shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. Nabi Karim is famous for its markets, and we’re right in the thick of it. The smell of the nearby food stalls and the sound of the crowds is just part of our daily life. We don’t have a website or any of that modern stuff. If someone wants something, they usually just walk in or call the old landline. We deal in general goods, whatever people in the area are looking for. The floors are a bit uneven and the walls could use a coat of paint, but it doesn’t stop us from working. We spend most of the day sorting through stock or chatting with the neighbors. It’s a community here. We know who is getting married and who is moving away. We aren't trying to build an empire. We just want to provide for our families and do a decent job for the people who trust us. It’s a lot of hours, but it’s a good life that we have built over the years.
