If you come down to Anand Parbat Street No 4, you’ll hear us before you see us. Our place at A 18A is right in the middle of all the noise. Mittal Group Of Industries is basically just a bunch of us working with metal and machines all day long. The air always smells like scorched steel and heavy grease. It gets really hot in the summer, especially near the back where the big presses are running. We don't have a reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there with safety glasses on, probably shouting over the sound of the equipment. We spend most of our time looking at blueprints or checking the crates that are ready to be shipped out. The floor is concrete and it’s seen a lot of wear over the years. We keep the tea kettle going in the corner because everyone needs a break now and then. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to stay late to catch up, but that’s just how industry work is. It’s not a pretty job, and our clothes usually have holes or stains on them by the end of the week. We just focus on the parts we’re making and try to keep the machines running smooth so we don't fall behind on the orders. It’s a lot of sweat and hard work, but we have been doing it this way for years.
