Mehreen'S Craft

Pahar Ganj is a pretty crowded place, and we are right in the middle of it at Gali Kumaran. Mehreen'S Craft is at number 966, just across from Raveena Palace. If you've ever walked through the Main Bazar, you know how busy it gets with all the tourists and shoppers. Our little shop is usually packed with things we've made. There isn't much room to move around, but that's just Pahar Ganj for you. We've been here for years, and we've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. But our work stays mostly the same. We sit here and work on our crafts while the world goes by outside the door. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and it’s always interesting. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. We just use what we have. Most of the people who come in are just passing through the bazar and happen to see something they like. We talk to everyone who stops by, even if they aren't buying anything. It's just nice to have the company. The space is old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't bother us much. We're more focused on the items we're making. It’s a real, honest way to make a living, and we enjoy the energy of the market. Every day is a bit different here, which keeps things from getting boring. We just do our work and live our lives.
