733 F/F, Double Story. New Rajendra Nagar. It’s an old building, double story style. We are on the first floor. West Delhi has a specific vibe, and New Rajendra Nagar is right in it. We do garments. It’s a lot of counting and checking. We have racks of shirts and dresses. The light in the office isn't great, so we have extra lamps everywhere. We've been here for a while. The neighborhood is full of people who have lived here for decades. We know the local grocery guy and the postman. We don't do big fancy launches. We just get the orders, pack them in plastic, and put them in boxes. The floor is old linoleum. It’s seen a lot of foot traffic. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea. That's the most important part of the day. Without tea, nothing gets done. We aren't corporate people. We wear regular clothes to work. Sometimes the landlord comes by to chat. It’s a very local business. We handle everything ourselves, from the accounts to the sweeping. We try to keep the garments clean and pressed. It’s hard work, especially when it’s humid. But we’ve got a good rhythm now. Meesee Garments is just us, working away in a double-story house, trying to make a living in the city. There isn't much more to it than that. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
