Started at Neataji Subhash Marg years ago. Darya Ganj is always crowded. The street is full of people and cars. We sit at 3739-40. It gets loud in the afternoon. Sometimes the electricity goes out. We just keep working. We handle the stuff ourselves. The building is old but it works for us. My father used to be here too. We have these big windows that let in some light. It’s a lot of work to keep things organized. Usually, we are busy with orders. Sometimes we just wait for the delivery guy. It’s not fancy here. Just a regular place where we do our thing. Delhi heat is something else in the summer. We drink a lot of chai from the shop nearby. People come in and talk. Some stay for a long time. We try to keep things simple. No big signs or anything. Just Manoj Creations. We have stacks of fabric and boxes everywhere. It’s messy sometimes. But we know where everything is. The neighbors are nice. We’ve known them for ages. If you walk down the Marg, you’ll find us easily. It’s just how it is. We wake up, open the shop, and stay until late. It's a living. Nothing more to it. We just do what we do. It’s a busy life but we wouldn't know what else to do with our time.
