Kalpana Exclusive

If you’re walking down Gurudwara Road in Karol Bagh, you’ll find us. We are Kalpana Exclusive, up on the 3rd floor of the Sachdeva Building. Karol Bagh is always crowded, so getting up to the third floor is actually a nice break from the street noise below. It’s a lot of stairs if the elevator is busy, but you get used to it after a week. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the stock. We deal with clothes and fabrics mostly. The lighting isn’t the best, but we know where everything is. We’ve had this spot for a while now. The building is older, so it has some character, like the creaky doors and the way the windows rattle when a big truck goes by. We aren’t trying to be a big fancy boutique with bright lights and music. It’s just a place to come and look at what we have. Most of our regulars know the way up. We spend our mornings checking the new arrivals and sorting through boxes. It gets a bit messy during the peak season, but that’s how it goes in this business. We just keep our heads down and work. There isn't much to say other than we are here every day, except for the usual holidays. It’s a simple operation in a busy part of Delhi. You see a lot of things change on this road, but we stay the same. We just keep the doors open.
