K C Street Restaurant

You can find K C Street Restaurant over in the Ansal Building in Dr Mukerjee Nagar. We occupy flats 37, 38, and 39 in building 303 A. It is a bit of a maze in this commercial complex if you aren't used to it. This part of Delhi, the 110055 area, is always buzzing with students and people working in the nearby offices. Because of that, we stay fairly busy from morning until late at night. The restaurant is just a place where you can grab a meal without any fuss. We don’t have expensive furniture or any of that stuff. The floors are worn down from people walking in and out all day. We spend a lot of time prepping vegetables and getting the stove going. It gets quite hot in the kitchen, especially during the summer months, but that’s just part of the job. Mukerjee Nagar has a very specific energy to it, and we feel like a small piece of that. Sometimes the delivery guys are rushing in and out, and other times we have regular customers who sit for a while. We don’t do anything fancy with the way we present the place. It’s just about having a spot where the food is ready when people are hungry. We keep the counters wiped down and the chairs straight as best as we can while keeping up with the orders.
