Jai Ambe Ispat

Our business, Jai Ambe Ispat, is located at M-70B in Anand Parbat, right on Gali 10. This is a tough neighborhood with a lot of heavy industry. You’ll hear the sound of metal hitting metal all day long here. We deal mostly in iron and steel products. Our space is more like a small warehouse than an office. It’s got high ceilings and heavy doors because we have to move big loads in and out. The air always smells a bit like iron and grease, which is just part of the job. We have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting while one of us stays in the small corner office to handle the money and the orders. It’s not a place for fancy clothes; we all wear stuff that we don't mind getting dirty. Gali 10 can get pretty blocked up with carts and trucks, so moving stuff out can be a real headache sometimes. We just deal with it as it comes. We’ve been here for a while and we know the other shop owners on the street. We help each other out when someone needs a hand moving a heavy beam. There’s no big philosophy here. We just sell metal and try to make sure we don't run out of what people need. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. It gets very hot in the summer but we have a good cooler.
