Guru Nanak Cutter

Our place is at T 31/8 in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area, specifically down Gali Number 10. If you know Anand Parbat, you know it can be a bit of a maze with all the narrow lanes and busy shops. We are right there in the thick of it. As the name says, we focus on cutters. These are the big, industrial types of blades and tools used for slicing through all sorts of materials. The shop is usually full of the sound of metal being moved or sharpened. It’s a very hands-on kind of environment. We have racks and bins filled with different sizes of cutting tools. Some are for wood, some are for metal, and others are for more specialized work. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the grinding that goes on, but it is where the work gets done properly. We don't have a big reception desk or a waiting lounge. Most people just walk right into the work area and tell us what they need. We’ve seen a lot of different cutters come through here over the years. Some are brand new and some are old ones that need a bit of life put back into them. We just take them as they come and get to work. It’s a steady rhythm that hasn't changed much since we first opened our doors in this lane. If you get lost in the alley, just ask for the cutter shop near the corner.
