Garbi Creations

Garbi Creations is tucked away in Old Rajinder Nagar at 37/1. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of students and families walking by all the time. Our space isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack the fabric and where we put the sewing machines. There’s usually thread all over the floor by the afternoon, no matter how much we sweep. We spend most of our time cutting and stitching. It’s just a small team of us here. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, and other days we are rushing to finish a pile of work. We don't really do much marketing. Usually, someone walks in because they saw the sign or a friend told them where we are. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we know where everything is. We handle different kinds of clothes and small projects. It gets a bit hot in the summer because the building is old, but we have a fan that helps a little. We aren't some big fashion house with a designer name. We are just local people making things with our hands. It's a quiet sort of life, focusing on the needles and the cloth. If you are in the area, you might hear the hum of the machines from the street. It is what it is, just a small place in the city where we keep busy and try to finish our orders.
