We are over in Shakti Nagar, specifically Gulabi Bagh 204. Our work involves a lot of iron and steel, which means the place is often very hot and heavy. We’ve got large stacks of metal rods and sheets leaning against the walls. It’s not the kind of place you come to see a fancy display. We deal with people who need raw materials for building or manufacturing. The floor is concrete and has a lot of chips in it from years of moving heavy loads. We have a big scale that we use to weigh everything. Sometimes the noise from the cutting machine is so loud we have to shout to hear each other. We’ve been in Gulabi Bagh for quite some time and we know the other industrial units around us. The office is just a small partitioned area with a wooden table and a heavy safe. We don't spend much on decorations because it would just get covered in iron dust. It’s a tough job but it’s what we know. We don't have a big marketing team, just our reputation among the local contractors. If the gate is halfway closed, we are still inside, probably just loading a truck in the back. It’s a straightforward business and we keep it that way. It's usually just us here, making sure everything gets shipped out on time without much fuss.
