De-Mohan Co.

At De-Mohan Co., we are located on the first floor of Prehlad Market, specifically at A-20. This is on D.B. Gupta Road, which is a major part of the Karol Bagh area. If you’ve been to Karol Bagh, you know how the traffic can get, especially during the festive seasons. Our market is usually buzzing with people looking for all sorts of things. Being on the first floor helps us escape a little bit of the street-level dust, but the noise still finds its way up. The office is a bit of a maze of boxes and old shelves. We’ve been here for a long time, so we have stuff tucked away in every corner. We handle a lot of different items and the inventory is always changing. The light inside isn’t the best, so we have a few extra lamps around the desks. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out some of the honking from D.B. Gupta Road. It’s a very practical workspace, with coffee stains on the coasters and piles of catalogs everywhere. We don’t really do anything for show here, it’s just about getting the orders sorted and out the door. The building is old and the stairs are a bit steep, but it’s home for us. Most of the other shop owners nearby are friends, and we often share a pot of tea in the late afternoon while discussing the day's business.
