Cottage Craft

You will find Cottage Craft tucked away at 1515 Faiz Ganj, near Pataudi House in Darya Ganj. This part of the city is really old and has so much history in every single brick. The lanes around here are narrow and they are almost always crowded with people, rickshaws, and delivery carts. It can be a real struggle to get through the crowds sometimes, but the area has a character that you just do not find in the newer parts of town. Our place is part of that old fabric. It is a bit cramped inside because we have so much stuff packed into the rooms, but it feels cozy in its own way. The walls are a little uneven and the floors show the wear of many years of use. We do not really mind the imperfections. It is a working space where we spend our days and we are comfortable here. We usually start our mornings with a cup of tea while we talk about what needs to be done for the day. There is always the sound of the market nearby, which just becomes a kind of background music after you have been here a while. We are not a corporate office with people in suits. We are just regular people who know a lot about our trade. We have been in Darya Ganj for a long time and we feel like we truly belong to this neighborhood.
