Anwar Poultry Form

You can find us at 4970, Nehru Bazar, right on Ram Dwara Road in Pahar Ganj. It’s a loud place to be, especially in the mornings when the birds are being delivered. Anwar Poultry Form isn't a place where you'd want to wear your best clothes. It’s a working farm and shop, so there’s always feathers and feed around. We get started while most of the city is still asleep, unloading trucks and making sure everything is ready for the day. Nehru Bazar is always a bit of a mess with people and bicycles everywhere, but we managed to carve out our own corner here. We’ve got a small office that’s mostly used for keeping records on scraps of paper. The fans are always running to keep the air moving, but it’s still pretty warm. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know the routine. We’ve known the other shopkeepers on this road for decades, and we all help each other out when someone’s truck gets stuck or the rain is coming down too hard. It’s a tough business because the hours are long and you don't really get days off, but people need what we provide. We just focus on the work at hand and don't worry much about the rest. When we finally close up, the sun is usually already going down over Pahar Ganj.
