Our place is situated out on Survey No. 199 along the Savarkundla Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town center, but we like being out here where there’s more space for the food production. The road can be a bit bumpy depending on the season, especially after the heavy rains. We handle a lot of different food products, so there is always a specific smell in the air depending on what we are processing that day. It’s a busy environment with people coming and going at all hours. We don’t have a fancy corporate lobby or anything. Instead, we have a functional space where the real work happens. Most of our days are spent checking batches and making sure the machinery is cleaned properly. It’s a lot of responsibility when you are dealing with food, so we stay pretty focused. The staff here mostly comes from the surrounding villages, and we’ve built a nice little community. Sometimes things break down or a delivery is late, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. We aren't into big speeches or polished presentations. We just want to do the work and get the products out on the trucks. The Savarkundla Road sees a lot of traffic, and we are just one of the many businesses trying to do a good job out here. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy and the atmosphere is usually pretty decent despite the long hours.
